I currently have two ways of producing an icon:
If you would like an icon based very closely upon one I have already done, I can produce sketches and, on agreement of size and colour scheme, and receipt of deposit, can move as soon as I have time directly on to painting. It gives limited involvement in the process for you, but this suits some people very well.
If you are not as clear as to what you would like, I will prepare a whole range of prototypes for that figure or scene to stimulate discussion, and over a period of around a month will meet in person or by zoom to firm up your individual preferences. This gives a much greater degree of personal involvement on your part which some particularly value. Once the deposit is received and I am free I will begin work.
For both of these processes I can give approximate timescales at the time of contact. I will make up to three sets of changes to the design on request within the costing. On very large pieces, over 80 centimetres in height, I may require an interim payment as well as a deposit as materials will be correspondingly more expensive. Price listed below (as at September 2022) are for specific sizes, as the boards I use are rectangles in those sizes. A different size, or additional features such as arched tops or triptych styles can be produced but the best thing to do if you want to something different from this is to contact me to discuss your thoughts and ideas.
